Anthropic expands 'Labs' incubator: CPO Mike Krieger moves to co-lead it with Ben Mann, Ami Vora takes over Product
On Jan 13, 2026 Anthropic announced "Labs", a team for incubating experimental products at the edge of Claude's capabilities, credited with Claude Code, MCP, Skills, Claude in Chrome and Cowork. Chief product officer Mike Krieger (Instagram co-founder) moved to Labs to build alongside co-founder Ben Mann, and Ami Vora, who joined at the end of 2025, took over the Product organization, working with CTO Rahul Patil.
