ChatGPT adds virtual try-on for clothing and a Favorites list for shopping
On Oct 1, 2026 OpenAI launched two ChatGPT shopping features: a "Try On" button that shows uploaded selfies or full-body photos wearing clothing and accessories, built on ChatGPT Images 2.5, and Favorites, which saves products to the user's Library. It is OpenAI's second push into shopping after it dropped Instant Checkout.
