What stands out
What its maker marketed at launch, and what people found later, each with its source.
30-second single-pass clips
Native generation of up to 30 s in one pass (Kling 3.0: 15 s); fal’s endpoints take 3-30 s, 720p or 1080p, with per-shot multi-prompts.
Omni Reference with keyframes
Up to 15 reference assets and up to 10 keyframe inputs per generation (Kuaishou release); start and end frame on image-to-video.
Notes
Unveiled 2026-09-28 (Lite/Flash for annual subscribers), official launch 2026-10-15 per Kuaishou’s Oct 19 release, open to all users on klingai.com from ~Oct 16 (Pandaily: with audio, MCP and CLI hooks). Not yet on the Artificial Analysis text-to-video or image-to-video boards (read 2026-10-25), so it has no independent rank; Kling 3.0 Pro is the boards’ 1000 anchor. 4K and 10-bit HDR availability reported inconsistently.

Not yet checked against an official source: Kling’s own developer API for 4.0 was reported as ‘coming soon’ by third-party trackers (creaa.ai, wireflow, Oct 16); not checked on Kling’s JS-rendered docs. fal’s v4 endpoints (OpenAPI schema read 2026-10-25) expose no audio parameter, so audio via fal is not confirmed.
