Pichai introduces Gemini 4 Argon as an early look, citing frontier performance in complex workflows, cyber defense and software engineering and extensive internal use at Google (coding to quantum computing), with an image of the benchmark table. His follow-up post (2105387954474746264) says Argon 'has frontier safeguards', is 'with the US gov't' and goes to trusted cyber defenders through the Fairwind Program first, promising availability 'as soon as we can and as safely as we can'.
