As part of our ongoing investigation into recent cybersecurity incidents, we’re serving a subpoena to OpenAI for additional information regarding the company & its AI models.

Companies that develop AI models have a moral & legal responsibility to ensure they don’t perpetrate or enable cyberattacks.

My office remains committed to using all the tools at our disposal to keep California’s residents safe.
