On 7 Oct that link opened a Hugging Face "Upcoming release" page, not a downloadable repo. It gave October 31, 2026 as the "Current ETA", showed 579 people waiting, and described "a 1 trillion-parameter natively multimodal model with 49 billion active parameters per token (52 billion including embeddings and output layers)". That explains the "A52B" in the repo name. Chaumond describes himself as Hugging Face co-founder and CTO (X bio). Reach at 11:31 UTC on 7 Oct: ~16k views, 417 likes.
