Why it matters

About 33M views: a prank reply showing that Musk’s own screenshot of a Grok @Bot purchase exposed enough order details to contact LEGO support about it; the most-viewed post of the Grok shopping-agent backlash.

Summary

Posted Oct 11, 2026 (08:59 UTC) by X user @Enderman, quoting Musk’s post ‘I just asked Grok @Bot to research the most fun Lego Star Wars kits for young kids and order them. As easy as that.’ Musk’s screenshot showed his order number, email and the last four digits of his card (Futurism). Enderman’s post attached two screenshots that he said showed a LEGO support bot cancelling the order. Musk replied at 12:07 UTC: ‘That’s not my address and the order isn’t canceled’ (about 3.3M views). Whether the order was actually cancelled is not independently verified; LEGO declined to comment to WIRED (via Futurism). Other users then claimed to have reinstated the order and changed its quantity and address; those claims are pranksters’ and unverified.
