Instinct in group chats (X launch video)

Summary
This video is a product launch demo by Noah Shinn showing Instinct, an autonomous consumer AI agent, operating inside an Apple Messages group chat. Instinct coordinates a weekend hiking trip among friends, renaming the group, suggesting trails, coordinating with a member’s personal agent to source a car rental via Bayline, booking the vehicle, and generating a pickup itinerary.

What is shown

• [00:00–00:06] Friends discuss making weekend plans in an iMessage group chat ("4 People").
• [00:07–00:11] A user adds the AI agent "Instinct" into the thread (making it "5 People") and prompts: "Instinct plan us a hike on saturday".
• [00:12–00:15] Instinct automatically updates the conversation title to "Saturday Hike" and sets a custom group icon of a hiking boot.
• [00:16–00:23] Instinct presents two hike options: Tomales Point, Point Reyes (9 mi) and Steep Ravine, Mt. Tam (4 mi).
• [00:24–00:31] A friend selects Tomales Point; Instinct notes that a car is required and states that it collaborated with Alex's personal Instinct agent to find an SUV rental via Bayline for $84/day.
• [00:32–00:38] Maya agrees ("down") and the user instructs Instinct: "book it".
• [00:39–00:46] Instinct responds with "Booked ✅" and posts an optimized morning pickup schedule across San Francisco neighborhoods (Mission, Hayes Valley, Marina) arriving at the trailhead by 10:30 AM.
• [00:49–00:52] Outro card showing the "Instinct" brand logo.

Assessment
This is an official launch video presenting a simulated concept workflow of Instinct functioning inside Apple Messages. The demo is stylized and pre-scripted to showcase end-to-end agentic capabilities—including inter-agent communication, third-party service integration (Bayline), and messaging automation—without exposing API or execution latency.
