You can rewrite typescript in rust for $420k

Theo (t3.gg) on ts-rust (aka tsc-rs, github.com/pingdotgg/ts-rust, ~1.2k stars on Oct 14), an experimental Rust port of the TypeScript 7 compiler, checker and LSP done by LLMs. The README says it ‘cost over $420,000 in tokens’ and reports a full type check about 3-4x faster than tsc 7 on T3 Code. No timeline entry yet; logged as a lead.
